1. In another life, I’m pretty sure I was an explorer. I’ve always been driven to experience new things and learn as much about an areas history and culture as I can. The best way to describe the feeling when I do this is “elation”. I’ve always felt a special connection to learning and accepting different ways of life.
2. If I won the lottery tomorrow, I’d start a rescue shelter for animals. And, you know, keep working here.
3. The best piece of advice I’ve ever been given is Hope for the best, plan for the worst. I’ve always lived by this quote and taken the approach to live life to the fullest but also plan in advance because I know hard things will come in life and it’s best to be prepared for these things so that I can handle them properly.
4. If I could invent a holiday, it would definitely involve waking up early and golfing nonstop all day and into the night.
5. What advice would you give a candidate who wants to join our team of superstars? Be SpongeBob SquarePants. Really though, be a sponge and soak up everything. Continuously learn and never stop. The more we learn, the more we realize that we don’t know. The only way one can make astute decisions is by learning and analyzing situations of the past and present so that we can help to plan and make decisions that affect the future.
6. If I weren’t so damn good at my job, I’d probably would have gone to law school. Which is what I originally planned to do before switching to business.
7. Cats or dogs? Dogs.
8. My favorite word in the English language is Elation. Really anything for a pure state of happiness. I don’t think people can really argue that there is no better feeling than just feeling pure happiness in a moment to the point of not recognizing anything else in the world.
9. My favorite word that has no direct English translation is Lønningspils. It is Norwegian and roughly translates to “salary beer”. It’s used for colleagues going out for beer once they get paid. I’m of Norwegian heritage and I find it funny that they have a specific word for this that doesn’t translate to English.
10. What’s the most inspiring part of your job? The thing that inspires me the most is helping my coworkers overachieve in their roles.
11. If I were a superhero, my superpower would be Super speed because I hate waiting in lines.
12. When I was 5, I was pretty sure I’d be a professional hockey player when I grew up.
13. If you were a pasta shape, what shape would you be and why? Linguini because I go with the flow.
14. If we held an office talent show, I’d wow everyone with my ability to hit the golf ball really far 1/10 times.
